BREAKING POINT

Reading all the wonderful poetry people have submitted for my magazine inspired me to write some new ones of my own. I used to be big on poetry back in high school and last year I published a poetry book on some of the ones I really loved, and then I got involved with writing for my magazine and journalism and basically non-fiction stuff that I backed up my creative flow. So, I'm glad that it's back! Let me know what you think of my poem below.

BREAKING POINT
You wonder what's true
hearing so many praise
but all you see is pain.
Going beyond your eyes
is so hard sometimes
truthfully
I can't help
wondering and doubting
Is it possible?
Will it happen for me?
I'm now at the point
where I feel like giving up
how much longer do I have
to wait.
If only I knew that THIS
is the point of the last test
God is ready to bless
as long as I don't break

Anytime you go against the grain look for pain sweetness it is what it is. Thats just it, God's people dont look at just the eyes we go straight to the soul. Nobody told us the road would be easy. God said "I will give you rest". Our God is an on time God and he will never leave us or forsake us. Fight the good fight and hold on to God's unchanging hands.Your sister in christ!
