A Question Part two
The very next day in my e-mail I received my daily bible verse which was: Mark 11:24 "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."
That scripture made me think that maybe God doesn't say no until you begin to doubt. Maybe it's my doubting even a little bit that makes God say that she doesn't believe I love her enough and I am capable so I'm putting it off for her until she does.
But then I spoke with a friend and she said there were times when she really did believe all the time without any doubting and didn't get what she was looking for. The comments that followed my question were very helpful too. I think that they are right, God has a wonderful and just plan for your life and that you shouldn't worry or doubt His plan, if he does say no then it's for a good reason.

Favorite Poem
(If you are used to me blogging once a week take notice that I blogged something yesterday please read the question I posted yesterday and add your comment thanks.)
Christian by Maya Angelou
When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin."
I'm whispering "I was lost,"
Now I'm found and forgiven.
When I say..."I am a Christian"
I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble
and need CHRIST to be my guide.
When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak
and need HIS strength to carry on.
When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed
and need God to clean my mess.
When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible
but, God believes I am worth it.
When I say... "I am a Christian"
I still feel the sting of pain,
I have my share of heartaches
So I call upon His name.
When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner
who received God's good grace, somehow.

Mighty Overcomers
"for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God." 1 John 4-5
